Conversion tracking on ROLLER
ROLLER splits a booking across surfaces your tag container was never installed on, so the purchase can be real, recorded by ROLLER, and invisible to the team running the ads.

Where the click dies
One booking, two tracking systems, and no line between them. The drawing below follows a single ad click to the point it stops.
Where it dies
The click dies at the iframe wall. Checkout runs on a separate hostname, so identity from the parent page does not carry into it. The booking still completes, and ROLLER records it on its own hosts, where the agency has nothing installed and nothing to audit.
What breaks
Diagnosed first-hand on a live account, not read off vendor documentation.
Checkout loads inside an iframe pointed at a separate hostname, so a cross-domain linker on the parent page does not carry identity into it. Separately, ROLLER ships a native Meta pixel and Conversions API of its own that fire on hosts like ecom.roller.app and waiver.roller.app, where no client container exists. The result is two tracking systems that never meet, one of which the agency cannot see, configure, or audit.
Why nobody catches it
Revenue never stops. Bookings complete, ROLLER reports them, and the venue is happy. Only the credit is missing, and nothing in GA4 or Google Ads drops to zero to signal it. A threshold alert cannot catch a failure whose symptom is a number being attributed to the wrong source.
The work
A written record of every purchase surface, what fires on each, and where the duplication risk sits. Written for whoever inherits the account, not for the invoice.
- 01Map every surface a booking can complete on, including the widget path that never leaves the marketing domain
- 02Establish whether ROLLER native tracking is already sending purchases, before adding anything that would double count
- 03Define the booking event once, with value, currency, order identifier, product and location, and send it deliberately
- 04Test a real booking end to end and record which destination received what

For agencies and operators
Bring a ROLLER booking flow and we will read its setup before anything is signed.
Agencies keep the client relationship. Operators keep the account ownership. In either arrangement, definitions, configuration and test evidence stay with the people responsible for the work.
Agencies can bring the work in under their own name. Operators can engage directly. The implementation follows the account access and written scope.
