Conversion tracking on Leap360
Leap360 confirms the sale without navigating anywhere, which defeats any conversion tag waiting for a thank-you page.

Where the click dies
The drawing below ends where the sale is confirmed. Follow what happens to the URL at that moment, and to the tag waiting on it.
Where it dies
The click dies at a confirmation that never navigates. The panel renders over the page the customer was already on, the address bar does not change, and the thank-you path the conversion tag is keyed to is never requested. The tag is configured correctly for a page load that does not exist.
What breaks
Diagnosed first-hand on a live account, not read off vendor documentation.
Order confirmation renders as an overlay on the existing page. There is no new URL, so a pageview trigger keyed to a confirmation path never fires. Tracking can also end up gated to a single hostname while real bookings complete on another, which produces a partial count that looks plausible enough to go unquestioned.
Why nobody catches it
A partial count still looks like a count. It can be read as a weak period instead of a broken trigger, so a budget decision gets made before anyone tests the missing completion surface.
The work
The confirmation mechanism documented in writing, with the hostname list it was tested against.
- 01Trigger the purchase on the confirmation event the platform actually emits, not on a URL that never changes
- 02Check every hostname a booking can complete on before scoping the trigger
- 03Guard against refires so a page refresh does not count a second sale
- 04Confirm value and order identifier arrive, so refunds can be reconciled later

For agencies and operators
Bring a Leap360 booking flow and we will read its setup before anything is signed.
Agencies keep the client relationship. Operators keep the account ownership. In either arrangement, definitions, configuration and test evidence stay with the people responsible for the work.
Agencies can bring the work in under their own name. Operators can engage directly. The implementation follows the account access and written scope.
